The very interesting and complex nose has elements of bell pepper and cocoa. The flavors are bright and highlighted with maraschino cherry, huckleberry, black licorice and tea with the cocoa in the nose following through in the flavors. The color is almost black and the tannins are sturdy, as they should be for a Petite Sirah.
