This is a classic, cool climate Syrah. It has ripe flavors of plum, black fruit and a hint of menthol and orange zest with just a touch of gaminess. Lingering in the background are traces of dust and black truffle. and black pepper!

Dark, but not brooding, well, not yet! This wine has flavors running from raspberry through blackberry to black cherries. Racy with it's firm acidity, it also offers hints of leather and tobacco. The tannins are firm, but supple.

This is our first wine from this old, head trained vineyard which is located in Redwood Valley adjacent to the Rhode's Vineyard. This results in bright red fruit flavors and good acid structure even after malo lactic fermentation.

The very interesting and complex nose has elements of bell pepper and cocoa. The flavors are bright and highlighted with maraschino cherry, huckleberry, black licorice and tea with the cocoa in the nose following through in the flavors.
